{Health Challenge #2 - Week 5}

This quote is a great reminder. Sometimes I get on a run with my mind beating up my body.  It doesn't happen often, but when it does it is usually pretty brutal. My husband even feels the need to step in and remind me to be nice to myself. I don't necessarily mean body image or weight, even though sometimes I struggle with that too. It could be frustration because I don't have enough energy, or struggling to learn something new and it just isn't clicking, or eating something that doesn't agree with me so I feel puffy and lethargic, or having to step away from the computer because it is giving me a headache.  I need to have positive thoughts and remember how amazing it is to have a functioning body, even with some of the health challenges I deal with mostly due to food sensitivities.  It is interesting when I am going through one of these phase I typically will see someone with a disability or a health struggle worse than mine. I am reminded how blessed I truly am and that I need  think of all the positive things I am able to do.

My challenge to you is the next time your mind is bullying your body try to think of all the positive things your body can do and the qualities you possess.
