{Health Challenge #2 - Week 4}

I love this quote. Last week wasn't the greatest in my book. At least it didn't start off great.  It was fall break and we weren't able to go to the cabin as planned due to sickies (which equaled stir crazy kids), we had a funeral, and I was lacking in sleep which makes me emotional. I will admit there were a few times I wanted to crawl in a hole and wait until everything passed me by. Somehow though I kept moving and was able to see some good that outweighed the not so good. I got to take care of my 10 year old daughter during day and even lots during the night and was reminded how precious she is and how quickly she is growing up. It saddens me to think she could leave for college in 8 years. We went on a fun family bike ride after the sickies were better, I got to hug my dear friend who lost her husband and meet her beautiful family, I was able to declutter the garage a bit with the help of my husband, and I was reminded how many amazing people I call friends and family. When all was said and done it was a great week. Not because I had anything spectacular happen but because I was reminded how precious moments are. There was still a lot of good that outweighed the not so good. I didn't do that fantastic with the challenge but I will keep moving and do better this week.
