{Ingredient Information-Where to Buy?}

I have been asked several times where I purchase some of my ingredients.

Photo of organic Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil - 1 gallon.

I use Tropical Traditions Organic Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil
Those of you who are local to me, Shari Goodman with Enlightened Homemaker does group orders for this oil. It is usually $15 less per gallon through her group order plus you get free shipping.

Shredded Coconut - 1 gallon pail
I use Tropical Traditions unsweetened shredded coconut.

I buy 25 pounds to save money and store it in my freezer. If you sign up for their newsletter they frequently send out coupon codes.

You can usually get local raw honey from farmers markets. I have been fortunate to have a couple contacts. Last year my sister was able to get me a 5 gallon bucket from a neighbor who produces honey. This time around I ordered my honey from Kody Tilton. He is local to me and does orders not only for local raw honey but also raw nuts. Here is his info for anyone local who would like to be put on his email list.

  1. I order that oil from Shari- and it is by far my favorite. If I run out for some reason between orders, or if $60 doesn't fit in your budget, trader joes sales organic coconut oil and Costco does now too.

Thanks for taking the time to visit our blog. We love hearing from you.
