{ HEALTH AND WELLNESS CHALLENGE}




I am so excited to announce Polka Dot Pixies first Health and Wellness Challenge. This challenge starts Monday, October 22, 2012 and runs through Sunday, December 30, 2012. You will have the opportunity to win prizes from one of our FABULOUS sponsors! Plus you will have the chance to win the "POT" of money at the end.

I am extremely passionate about the balance of health and wellness. This IS NOT a weight loss challenge. It is about doing little things daily to increase a balance of joy and health. This challenge will take us through the holidays and will help us keep track of our daily habits. We will share tips and tricks along with healthful recipes to help you be successful.

I have done this challenge several times with friends and have enjoyed the amazing benefits. I am now expanding it not only to my friends but to all of you. Grab a friend or two and reap your own benefits from this fun challenge.

  4. Dear Heidi,
    I would love to join your challenge, but I don't use the computer on Sundays. Is there a possibility of posting early on Saturday or would you consider changing it to Monday? Lot's of us take Sunday off, so requiring us to post sort of defeats taking the whole day off from the challenge idea. Thanks for considering my idea.

    Absolutely we can work that out. When I have hosted this in the past I would ask for numbers by Tuesday. I will change it to turn your points in by Monday evening at midnight. Thank you for the suggestion. I think that will work better for us too. Spread the word and hurry and get signed up.

  7. I am doing the challenge and was wondering about sucanat. Is that sweetener ok for this challenge?

  8. No Sucanat is still sugar just less processed. We are trying to go for natural sweeteners that are better and easier for your body to process. All sweeteners need to be used sparingly. The only sweetners I am allowing in this challenge other than on your free day are:

    LOCAL RAW HONEY - (IT HAS TO BE RAW)
    PURE MAPLE SYRUP - NOT THE PROCESSED STUFF YOU USUALLY BUY FOR PANCAKES
    STEVIA
