{202 Magazine Featured My Recipes}

I feel so blessed to have 4 of my recipes featured in the September 2012 issue of 202 Magazine. If you are unfamiliar with this publication it is a local magazine. Chrissy May (Editor in Chief) asked for a few of my recipes to be published in their Health and Nutrition section. It is right up my ally so of course I jumped at the opportunity.  She featured my Berry Coconut Smoothie,  Spanish Quinoa Salad (will post this recipe soon), Herbed Turkey Burger, and my Chocolate Coconut No Bake Bars.

I did send her a couple other recipes and she is holding some of them for their November issue. They are my Pumpkin Spice Waffles topped with Pumpkin Pie Syrup , Cinnamon Whipped Cream, and Toasted Walnuts.  Interested in trying this recipe? Well check back closer to November. It is absolutely delicious so you won't want to miss it.  It is like eating dessert for breakfast.

My husband was looking through the magazine and noticed my Herbed Turkey Burger picture is featured in the table of contents too. Yep, made me a little excited. 

Second page in the two page spread. They did make a mistake. On the end of my Chocolate Coconut No Bake Bars they added a little bit of my Pumpkin Pie Syrup recipe. It is marked between the two red arrows. Oh well...I just think of it as a sneak peek for an upcoming recipe.
