{Lemon Water - Why I Drink It}


I try to eat as healthful as possible but still fall off the bandwagon from time to time. This summer has been no different. Between family gatherings, vacations, and not having a routine, I often ate whatever was in front of me. As a result I often felt lethargic, swollen, bloated, and just plain BLAH!

So when I feel the blah's from eating too much sugar, processed and salty food,  I ALWAYS first start cleansing by drinking LOTS of lemon water. I notice a HUGE difference just after the first day. My swelling goes down,  digestive system gets back on track, skin clears up and I have more energy.

LEMON WATER
32 ounces of purified water
Ice to keep it chilled
Fresh lemon juice from one whole lemon
A few slices of lemon (opt.)
You can also add a few fresh mint leaves (opt.)

I try to drink two- 32 ounce glasses of lemon water in one day.
